What course did you study?

BA (Hons) Business Management - Rotational Degree Apprenticeship (3 years)

How did studying at Pearson College London help you get into the world of business?

As a degree apprentice I was fortunate to gain invaluable experience at Pearson College London, IBM and Tesco. This allowed me to build up a varied portfolio or skills and expertise to showcase to employers and gave me the confidence to approach challenging scenarios throughout my early-career. To have achieved a First Class business degree whilst also working full time was a product of hard work and determination but it can also be highly attributed to the incredible real-world knowledge and support provided by my lecturers and the wider team at Pearson College London during the last 3 years.

Where have you gone on to work and what is your role?

I am an Account Manager at Influencer, my role is to manage the client relationships across several accounts in order to ensure that Influencer retain business and perform successful influencer marketing campaigns.

What are you working on at the moment?

I am currently working across a number of influencer marketing campaigns for clients including Barclays, giffgaff, Kerrygold butter, Fiverr, Ciate, KF beauty and many more. I also attended MAD Fest last week where I spent two days pitching our business to new clients, and have many business proposals and client meetings in the pipeline in order to reach my retained business target. In my second week here I was fortunate to attend Milan fashion week and chaperone the influencers on the campaign to ensure that they created content in line with the contracted deliverables!

What do you enjoy most about working for Influencer?

The team - we have a work hard play hard attitude. During busy periods it can be long hours and hard work but we also have a lot of social events, employee recognition (and Gin and Tonic Thursdays!)

What was your favourite part of studying at Pearson College London?

As a smaller university, all my lecturers not only knew my name but also what i’m currently working on, this made it much easier to access support, and I don’t think I would have achieved the grades I did without such helpful lecturers who were willing to give up their breaks and lunch times to help me succeed.

If you had to sum up your time at Pearson College London in one word, what would it be and why?

Family-Feel ! (does that count?)

What's your favourite brand and why?

T/ALA by GraceFit, because she built a sustainable clothing brand from scratch whilst also balancing being an active influencer with over 1 million followers, studying a degree at Oxford University, buying & renovating a house and an active social life all whilst being just 21 years old.
