It's scholarship season for our Master's courses here at Escape Studios and we are pleased to announce that our winners have been confirmed. We were impressed with the quality of the portfolios we received from our September 2019 applicants! We are happy to announce the winners’ names for this cohort – congratulations to everyone who applied!

Here's what the winners have to say about their achievements...

  2. Module 2 - Game Art ‐ Advanced / Next-generation Development
  3. Module 3 - Game Art – FX and Technical Art

"To sum it up, it was an amazing surprise, completely unexpected. I'm really glad they could see the potential in my portfolio even though it contains no 3D work currently. Thanks to the scholarship money, I can be much more relaxed about finances this year and I can focus 100% on the course." - Will Brosch, MA Game Art Scholarship Winner

Storyboarding and Previsualisation

The past decade has seen a rapid expansion in the creation of film, television, interactive entertainment and computer games. Hardly any piece of digital media is produced today that has not at some time been visualised by a Storyboard Artist or Previs Artist using a combination of traditional tools, such as storyboards, and modern digital tools, such as previsualisation software. This course is split into 5 modules and is currently the only course of its kind in the UK:

  1. Module 1 (unit 1-7) - Introduction to Storyboarding
  2. Module 2 (unit 8-12) - Advanced Storyboarding
  3. Module 3 (unit 13-18) - Previsualisation
  4. Module 4 - Studio Project
  5. Module 5 - Production Project

"I feel so incredibly grateful to have this opportunity. When I found out I was bouncing off the walls!" - Molly Babingdon, MA Storyboarding and Previsualisation scholarship winner
