As Student Counsellor, I offer free, confidential support to students at Pearson College London. If you are facing any challenges or difficulties in your life that are impacting you personally or academically, you may find it helpful to make an appointment to see me. I recognise that asking for help is not always an easy thing to do. You may find though, that talking to someone experienced who is completely separate to your family, social group and tutors, can help you to figure out ways to manage the difficulties you might be facing. You can contact me directly to arrange an initial appointment, or you can ask any member of the Student Services Team to make a referral.

Chave has also run Wellbeing Workshops that cover stress management and recommendations for adopting techniques to deal with it, especially during the busy assessment period. In addition to this, Pearson College London has worked with The Battling Suicide Bus to run events such as 5-a-side chess to help students to focus on the present and help with problem-solving skills.
Due to Pearson College London being part of Pearson Plc, this means that students are provided with free book resources that are available to read online 24/7! Extra reading is a massive element of a degree as it can help students to improve their grades tremendously so it could be used to its advantage. Having all of the books online means you can read them wherever you want and whenever you want to and there’s always a copy available - so you don’t need to worry about getting to the library early to take it out.
Online Learning Environment (OLE)
Lastly, Pearson College London provides students with an online portal that stores all lectures, seminar notes, term times, extra reading lists and many more features. This allows for students to revisit important notes for their course (which is extremely handy come exam season!) The Online Learning Environment is also a great revision tool, as it includes functions like recording lectures live for future reference.
