There are over 1,500km² of London to enjoy and our campus is based right in the centre of it. With such a large area to explore we thought we would give you ten of the best bits that are right outside our front door. With all of the next ten recommendations no more than ten minutes away it doesn't matter if you are here for a couple of hours or four years, there is loads to enjoy!
Covent garden - There is never a dull moment in Covent Garden. An endless stream of street performers and entertainers come here from around the world to please the crowds. With small boutique shops and fantastic food to try spend the day walking around and enjoying the hustle and bustle of the city.
Great, affordable pizza- Pizza resaurants are a dime a dozen in London, really good and affordable pizza in the centre is rare. Ecco pizza is located one minute behind 190 High Holborn and serves up the best oven baked pizza. A takeaway pizza starting at £4 and dining in from £5 you'll want to take your time to savour every mouthful and with prices like that you'll defintiely be coming back for more.

The British Museum - Escape from the crowds in a museum that's home to over 8 million works and is one of the largest in existence. Free to visit, you can spend days exploring the different collections and wander through the various exhibits that change each season.

Oxford Street - Shop till you drop - that’s Oxford Street. With everything from well known high street brands and designers (Selfridges, John Lewis, Topshop...) it’s somewhere you can definitely spend a lot of money. But that’s where your student card comes in, so don’t forget to ask at the till to see if they take NUS or UniDays codes.

Secret Comedy - who says a night out needs to be expensive?! Comics both new on the scene and A-List celebrities come and try out new material every day of the week. With nightly shows from just £1 during the week and cheap drinks, there is always fun to be had right behind our campus. Don't let the ticket price fool you, the likes of Amy Schumer, Dara O'Briain and Jack Whitehall are among the names to have dropped by in the past.

The West End - You can't visit London and not be tempted by something on the West End. From serious dramas and Shakespeare plays to fun-loving musicals there is something for everyone. While tickets can be pricey, if you're not picky about what you see you can find cheap tickets on the day.

Student Central - We understand that part of the college experience is about trying new things and meeting new people. Student Central (students only) membership is free and enables you to get involved with everything the organisation has to offer including sports, societies, online tickets and access into our bars. You can meet student from Universities and colleges all over London. With over 40 clubs and societies try everything from skydiving to chamber choir, they also have bars and restaurants with discounted goods.
Flight Club - London is always coming out with new and exciting venues, Flight Club is one of the venues to have stolen the city's heart. With vintage furniture and a built in carousel bar, this place is screaming "edgy". The drinks may be a little on the pricey side, but the experience of 'social darts' is definitely worth it.

My Old Dutch - The coolest pancakes in town, and right across the road from campus, you really can’t miss it! With offers on from Monday through to Friday, it’s definitely affordable for the budgeting student. A relaxing environment makes it the perfect place to visit with family and friends or simply take a break by yourself.

Great transport links- no matter where you need to get to, we can get you there. Based right between Holborn station and Tottenham Court Road station you’ll be able to get where you need to. With buses leaving from right outside our doorstep you’ll never be bored. London is your playground, so come and play!
