The best way to discover if Pearson Business School is for you is to meet our students, tutors and alumni a.k.a the Change Makers. These are the people that will give you all of the information you need to ensure you find the right degree for you. Plus they’ll give you the inside scoop on how we work with our industry partners including Direct Line Group, Unilever, IBM, JP Morgan and L'Oréal.
Among our students are aspiring entrepreneurs, some have started their own businesses, others have helped to shape Pearson College London by helping us secure our first business incubator and some students set up a very successful social enterprise - Once Upon a Doug. The open day will give you a chance to speak directly to some of our students so you can find out what it’s really like to study with us!
Our alumni have gone onto work on some amazing projects since graduating including setting up their own businesses and working for some of the biggest companies in the world including BBC and IBM. At Open Days our alumni give talks about their experiences, what they have been up to since graduating and they are also on hand to answer any questions you may have about studying in London and how to get a job afterwards.
Many of our tutors have worked in industry and know the ins and outs of what students need to do to stand out and help to kick-start your career. They will also be able to tell you how we work with industry, offer advice and explain how we teach and what else we can offer students at Pearson Business School.
We welcome people from industry to provide talks about the types of careers students could go into once they graduate and they’re also on hand to offer general career advice as well. So far this year we have welcomed: Fiona Davis (Managing Director at Brand Inspiration Co), Lee Carpenter-Johnson (Senior Consultant at The Digital Landscape), Jamie Thomas (Business Controller from DeepMind) and Quincy Bellot (Lawyer).
