Missed the UCAS deadline?

You could still start a degree in September 2018.

If you weren't able to meet the 15 January deadline for submitting your course application - don't worry! You still have three options available which is submitting a UCAS Late application, applying through UCAS Extra or applying through UCAS Clearing.

UCAS Late applications

Any application made after 15 January will be classed as 'late'. This service can be used up until 1 July 2018. This service is for students who didn’t make any applications by the January deadline, so if you haven’t used UCAS at all this cycle, this is how you should apply. The process is the same as the traditional application, but it means that those who applied by the deadline will be considered first. Take a look at what’s included in a UCAS application in our blog post here.

UCAS Extra

This scheme opens on 25th February and is available to students who didn’t receive any offers for the places they applied to, or for students who want to reject the offers they did receive and re–apply to a different institution. Students are only allowed to apply for one ‘extra’ course at a time. This service is open until 4th July 2018. View the FAQ’s information on the UCAS website.

UCAS Clearing

You are eligible for clearing if you already have your exam results but you have no offers, had conditional offers but your exam results didn't go to plan or you hadn’t applied to university but have changed your mind. Any applications received after the 30th June will be entered into Clearing and Clearing opens on 5th July until 20th September 2018. Find out more here.

Pearson Business School and Escape Studios have a limited number of Clearing places available to start in September 2018. See which courses are available through Clearing.
